Yes! Diffusers are an extremely easy and effective way of giving an aroma to a room. They also help reduce bacteria, fungus, mold and unpleasant odors. Assisting in relaxing the mind and body, they can help to relieve tension, anxiety and stress.

Low humidity can cause adverse health effects by drying out mucous membranes, such as the lining of the nose and throat and it can cause respiratory distress.

Low humidity also can affect wooden furniture, causing shrinkage and loose joints or cracking of pieces. Books, papers and artwork may shrink or warp and become brittle in very low humidity.

In addition, static electricity may become a problem in conditions of low humidity, destroying semiconductor devices and causing annoying static cling of textiles, and causing dust and small particles to stick stubbornly to electrically charged surfaces.

Diffusers disperse a micro-fine vapor that allows them to be suspended into the air for an extended period. It is much safer than burning oils in warmers and it retains the integrity of essential oils.

Only one of our models comes with a remote, the BBH-50 Tall. The remote is found at the back of the base of the Humidew, next to the electrical plug.

For each Humidew model, we recommend you clean it every 2-3 weeks, depending on how often you use it. Please check your model’s operating manual for cleaning instructions.
